Texas REALTOR® Kristi Fox Satsky, of Century 21 Beal, receives Homes for Heroes® Ruby Circle of Giving Award for rewarding 55 local heroes with $101,755 in 2018.
Satsky received the altruistic award because she pledges $100,000 per year to local heroes, such as teachers, healthcare workers, military personnel, firefighters, and law enforcement, when they buy or sell real estate. “Every buyer I sell a property to that works in or retired from one of these industries gets 0.7 percent of the sale price as a thank you gift for their service,” says Satsky. “Furthermore, every seller that works in or retired from these industries receives a discounted listing commission of 5.25 percent of the sales price when I sell their property.”
For each sale, Satsky also gives more of her commission to the Homes for Heroes® Foundation, which awards Hero Grants to local heroes in need. She became a local Homes for Heroes® affiliate REALTOR® in 2015 and has pledged and given $100,000 or more every year since. “I am passionate about giving back to my community in a big way,” says Satsky. “This also gives more meaning to my real estate career, knowing that I am helping the real heroes in our community with each sale. What an honor it is to work with and share my knowledge of real estate with these heroes every day.”

Kristi Fox Satsky was also extremely honored to receive the Bryan College Station Chamber of Commerce Community Impact Award in 2018 for her service and gifts to her community. She continues to work every day with local organizations, as well as her Homes for Heroes® affiliation, to leave her mark on her community.
