Bryan Collegiate High School is recognized as a leader in preparing students to succeed in college and beyond. The Bryan ISD high school has again received the College Success Award from GreatSchools.org.
However, this year, the recognition goes a step further. Bryan Collegiate also received the new Gold designation, an elevated level of distinction recognizing schools that have a multiyear track record of college success, as determined by college preparation and postsecondary data. Bryan Collegiate is one of only 1,770 schools in the United States to earn the inaugural College Success Award - Gold.
“This recognition is the result of a lot of hard work,” says Bryan Collegiate High School principal Tommy Roberts. “Hard work from our students, our teachers, our staff, and our administrators. We’re proud that year after year, our students are accepted to colleges and universities throughout the United States, and this recognition is further proof that not only are they accepted, but they are prepared and ready to succeed at the next level.”
Only 254 high schools in Texas received the inaugural College Success Award - Gold, further positioning Bryan Collegiate as one of the top high schools in the state. “We applaud Bryan Collegiate High School for consistently prioritizing a high-quality public education and putting students on the path to bright futures,” says Jon Deane, CEO of GreatSchools.org. “Over the past two years, students, parents, teachers, and communities have relied on one another like never before. We congratulate and thank all of these individuals for their unwavering, ongoing pursuit of college success for all students.”
