The Bryan/College Station Habitat for Humanity ReStore invites the community to join their “Deck the Walls” fundraising event from Nov. 30, 2021 to Jan. 1, 2022. The event provides a meaningful way to embrace the season of giving. Proceeds will support B/CS Habitat’s mission to build decent, affordable homes in partnership with local individuals and families in need.
To participate, stop by the ReStore and choose the gift amount you wish to donate. Smaller donations will buy paper ornaments that will "Deck the Walls” of the ReStore with Christmas spirit! Larger donations will purchase paper tree toppers that include names or company logos for ReStore patrons to see.
“Our hope for this fundraiser is to give community members a fun way to come together and celebrate the holidays,” says ReStore director Emily Stearns. “At the same time, they’ll be helping to raise money to support B/CS Habitat’s mission to build homes, communities, and hope in our community.”

About Bryan/College Station Habitat for Humanity
Driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live, Bryan/College Station Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Founded in 1989, B/CS Habitat has partnered with over 300 individuals and families, giving them a hand up and out of substandard housing. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Through financial support, volunteering, or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves. Through shelter, we empower. To learn more, visit habitatbcs.org.
