Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas is set to host the Fourth Annual Starlight Affair on April 26, at the Traditions Club in Bryan. The annual event raises money for Brazos Valley families with critically ill or injured children who rely on RMHC CTX’s programs.
RMHC CTX is expecting 300 guests, who upon arrival will be greeted with refreshing cocktails and delectable cuisine from five Bryan College Station top restaurants. During the cocktail reception, guests will enjoy live entertainment and many activities including a wine toss, photo booth, silent and live auction, and an opportunity to have their photo taken with Reveille, the official mascot of Texas A&M University. The evening will be complete with dessert, dancin,g and entertainment by dueling pianos, Howl at the Moon.
Jules Barnett-Harrison and Dr. Sam Harrison are the 2019 Starlight Affair chairs. The top sponsors include the Gig ‘em Gang and Dr. Sam Harrison and Jules-Barnett Harrison.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas began supporting Brazos Valley children and families in 2015 with the launch of the Happy Wheels Cart program at three B/CS hospitals. In 2016, a Ronald McDonald Family Room opened at CHI St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital and the Healing Hearts program began supporting families who tragically lose children with burial assistance. A second Family Room opened at College Station Medical Center in Jan. 2018.
