The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research programs. The Brazos Valley Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held on Oct. 16 at Lake Walk Atlas.
Anyone interested in joining the Brazos Valley Walk to End Alzheimer’s planning committee is encouraged to attend one of the virtual volunteer kickoff events to learn more about getting involved. Attendees will hear from current committee members about how their role in the Walk Planning Committee has impacted them and what to expect when joining this community of volunteers. Volunteer kickoff events will be held on March 1 at noon, March 3 at 5:30 p.m., or March 5 at 9 a.m. via Zoom. To RSVP, email ccapps@alz.org.
