Melvin “Wolf” Session of Wolf’s Pro Clean is implementing his new Sparkling Grace Church Cleaning Program. On the fifth of every month, Session will choose a church of any denomination in the Bryan College Station area to be the recipient of a free interior and/or exterior cleaning and sanitizing service. Selected churches will be contacted and churches that are not selected will remain in the running for the Sparkling Grace Church Cleaning Program.
Any church in need of a cleaning can submit a request to be chosen for the program. Wolf’s Pro Clean exterior service includes the pressure cleaning of church steeples, roofs, exterior façade, windows, and sidewalks.
The family-owned business’ interior service involves the spray application of Vital Oxide throughout the church to kill bacteria, viruses, and allergens. Vital Oxide is an EPA-registered hospital disinfectant cleaner, food surface sanitizer, mold killer, and heavy duty odor eliminator. It is recommended for use in response to COVID-19. Vital Oxide is safe, odorless, non-corrosive, hypoallergenic, and leaves behind no greasy or waxy residue.
There are no hidden costs or agendas. Session says he has wanted to implement the Sparkling Grace Church Cleaning Program for more than a year.
“As I drive around Bryan and College Station, I see any number of churches whose steeples and roofs, as well as their exterior, are black with the build-up of dirt and algae,” says Session. “As a devout Christian, it upsets me to see houses of worship in this condition. Churches should be bright and welcoming, but many of them struggle financially just to keep the doors open.”
The B/CS community has been supportive of Wolf’s Pro Clean over the past five years, says Session.
“I see this as a way to give back to my community at a time when there is so much distress in our nation. Churches stand for the power of God and the strength of the human spirit,” says Session. “Just imagine what a beacon of peace our churches will represent if they are shimmering in the sunlight throughout our community.”
Session says church submissions should include the reason they need the cleaning and sanitizing services. Churches that had COVID-19 cases will be prioritized for the interior Vital Oxide treatment. Wolf’s Pro Clean can clean the interior and exterior of a single church every month or do the exterior of one church and the interior of another.
