Sabi Boutique's flagship store Grand Opening that took place mid-July made a positive impact today on two nonprofit organizations, Kidz1st Fund and the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Texas. Sabi Boutique took a unique twist to their three-day grand opening events by adding a giving opportunity to give back to the community that has given them so much. Today, Sabi Boutique gifted $1,800 from their Shop for a Cause events.
A contribution of $600 went to Kidz1st Fund. Kidz1st Fund provides education and awareness about Fanconi anemia and raises money for Fanconi anemia research. This organization was created by Coach Jimbo Fisher and Candi Fisher when their youngest son, Ethan, was diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia, to provide critical research funding for the rare disease. During the grand opening events in July, a day was allocated to Kidz1st Fund by giving 12 percent of all sales on the Game Day Collection back to the organization. Kirsten Rayborn, director of Kidz1st Fund was very excited to receive the check on behalf of a cause that is very near and dear to her heart.
A contribution of $1,200 went to the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Texas. The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Texas is to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and families. Just like Kidz1st Fund, a day was allocated to RMHC CTX by giving 15 percent of all sales of the entire store back to the organization. Development Manager - Brazos Valley for Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Texas, Tanner Williams, accepted the check and was excited about the opportunity to partner in such a creative way.
“We were pleased with the outcome of our Shop for Cause events during the grand opening and feel blessed that we are able to give back at some capacity in a way that was fun and inviting to everyone," says Meredith McAuliffe, co-owner for Sabi Boutique. "We will continue to find creative ways to give back that align with our beliefs and values. We truly believe we must give in order to receive the many countless blessings we have been blessed with.”
