Gather your playing cards and dominoes along with your best team or partner and brush up on your bridge, canasta, domino, poker, and rummy games! The Hospice Auxiliary of the Brazos Valley will host the 2nd Annual “Play a Hand for Hospice” fundraiser on January 29 at the Miramont Country Club in Bryan.
This event will include lunch and dessert with coffee and tea. Snacks will also be provided. Everyone in the community is invited to enter a team of four per table. The Texas A&M Singing Cadets, “Aggienizers,” will perform during the luncheon, and there will also be door prizes. Cost for the event is $60 per person, which includes lunch.
Felicita Longnecker, Hospice Auxiliary’s publicity chairman, says, “’Play A Hand for Hospice’ was so popular last year that it has become our second largest fundraiser. We hope to have an even larger crowd this year. We had so many positive responses from all those who attended last year. And, a huge thank you goes out to Miramont Country Club for helping the Auxiliary sponsor this event.”
Spend the day socializing with members of the community, playing your favorite games, and enjoying good food and entertainment to support a meaningful cause. Hospice Auxiliary members and volunteers work to help Hospice Brazos Valley promote their mission by providing financial support, promoting community awareness of the Hospice mission and providing fellowship to Hospice Brazos Valley families.
