The RELLIS Academic Alliance is set to host two Transfer Fairs for students interested in attending classes on campus this fall.
Transfer Fairs allow prospective students to learn more about program offerings, visit with university representatives, review official transcripts, and outline potential degree plans.
“Each year we are able to offer exciting opportunities to the students at RELLIS, including quality academic programs and professors, lower tuition costs and a growing student community,” says Admissions Coordinator Cleveland Jones, Jr. “Attending the Transfer Fair provides an opportunity for prospective students to visit the campus, speak to representatives and really see what all we have to offer.”
With the addition of four new bachelors degree programs this fall, the RELLIS Academic Alliance is offering 13 unique academic options. Program additions include degrees in communications, public safety management, criminal justice, and computer science.
A 12th Man Sports Pass will also be given away at each Transfer Fair. The pass includes access to every Texas A&M University regular season home game for ticketed sports. Prospective students can complete the first step to enter the drawing by signing up for a Transfer Fair at www.RELLIS.TAMUS.EDU/TransferFair.
The first building in the Texas A&M University System’s Academic Complex is slated to open in August and will be utilized for classes this fall. Students enrolled in upper-division classes through a Texas A&M System regional university will be the first to attend classes in the 67,000 square-foot building. The $42 million, three-story building features more than 40 faculty offices, 10 classrooms, group learning and collaboration spaces, modern allied health teaching laboratories, and upper-division science laboratories.
Representatives from Prairie View A&M University, Tarleton State University, Texas A&M International University, Texas A&M University-Central Texas, Texas A&M University-Commerce, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Texas A&M University-Texarkana, and West Texas A&M University will be available to speak to prospective students at each fair.
