The locomotive painted to resemble Air Force One has returned to George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, where it will become a permanent exhibit.
Union Pacific No. 4141, named in honor of 41st President George H.W. Bush, arrived back in College Station from Arkansas on Sunday, March 21.
In 2018, crowds had lined the railroad tracks as the locomotive carried the flag-draped body of the senior Bush from Houston to the family plot on the grounds of his presidential library at Texas A&M University. He died at the age of 94.
