Soloist to Perform Valentine Program

Mezzo soprano Dr. Amy Brunt Thompson will be the featured soloist for a Valentine concert Sunday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. at historic Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Downtown Bryan. She earned a bachelor’s degree in vocal music education from Baylor University and a master’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas. Before returning to school to earn her medical degrees, Thompson taught music. She has also performed frequently as a soloist. She is now a physician in the neonatology department at Baylor Scott & White Hospital, College Station. The performance is part of the Plass Recital Series and is free and open to the public.
