The 38th Annual Home & Garden Expo will take place on Feb. 11 and 12 at the Brazos County Expo. The doors will open on Saturday at 9am until 5pm and on Sunday from 11am until 4pm
With more than 70 different companies exhibiting this year, the Home and Garden Expo is a one-stop shop to learn about building, renovation, banking, insurance, gardening, pools, outdoor tools, and more. With many experienced vendors, visitors are sure to leave with new ideas and inspirations, and see a variety of items to enhance the home such as fixtures, window treatments, outdoor grills, furniture, and so much more.
The Title Sponsor is Budget Blinds of College Station, and the Premium Sponsor is Eco-Zapp Pest Control.
Attendees may also join any of the seminars throughout the expo. Sessions will begin at 10am through 3pm on Saturday and noon through 2pm on Sunday. Back by popular demand, the Brazos County Master Gardeners will offer a variety of seminars in the East Pavilion. Hear about things from Vegetable Gardening for Beginners to Tree Pruning and Crepe Management. In the Ballroom, attendees will learn about The Building Process, Buying or Selling your Home, Dog Training Tips, and so much more. Gain insight from the experts, and then walk right out of the seminars and meet with the professionals who can make dream projects a reality.
There will be items of interest for the whole family. An added feature will be a few food trucks and an outdoor picnic area. Make sure to not miss the activities for kids at the Master Gardeners tent, Coufal-Prater’s corn kernel pit, and the “Garage Sale” benefitting the Habitat for Humanity, which will feature some household items and building materials. Note that the Garage Sale will be Saturday only.
Tickets are good for entry both days. Cost for admission is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors (65 and older), and kids under 12 years are free. For more information visit www.homeexpobcs.com.
