Matt Hamilton, owner of Hamilton Homes, was born and raised in Bryan. After graduating from Texas A&M University, Matt was hired by Camden Property Trust, one of the largest multifamily developers in the U.S. While working at Camden, Matt managed the construction of more than 2,000 upscale apartments in Texas, Arizona, and California. In 2003, Matt moved to Los Angeles joining Tri-Cal Construction, one of the leading developers of multi-family residential communities on Los Angeles’ west side. While working at Tri-Cal, Matt managed the construction of mid-rise apartment communities in downtown Los Angeles and Marina Del Ray. In the fall of 2005, Matt moved back to the Brazos Valley and started Hamilton Homes, fulfilling his desire to own and operate a residential construction company.
