The 39th Annual Home & Garden Expo will take place on Feb. 10 and 11 at the Brazos County Expo Complex. The doors are open on Saturday at 9am until 5pm and on Sunday from 11am until 4pm.
With more than 70 different companies exhibiting this year, the Home and Garden Expo is your one-stop shop to learn about building, renovation, banking, insurance, gardening, pools, outdoor tools, and more. With many experienced vendors, you’re sure to leave with new ideas and inspirations. You will see a variety of items to enhance your home such as fixtures, window treatments, outdoor grills, furniture, and so much more.
The Title Sponsor is Eco-Zapp AC Efficiency, and the Premium Sponsor is Tom Light Chevrolet.
Attendees may also join any of the seminars throughout the expo. Sessions last from 10 am through 3pm on Saturday and noon through 2pm on Sunday. Back by popular demand, the Brazos County Master Gardeners will offer a variety of seminars in the East Pavilion. You can hear about things from Container Gardening 101 to how to pick the right spot for the best veggies. In the Ballroom, you will learn about the building process, buying or selling your home, dog training tips, and so much more. You can gain a ton of insight from the experts, and then walk right out of the seminars and meet with the professionals that can make your dream projects a reality.
There will be items of interest for the whole family. An added feature will be a few food trucks and an outdoor picnic area.
Tickets are good for entry both days. Cost for admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors (65 and older), and kids under 12 years are free. For more information visit the Greater Brazos Valley Builders Association Facebook page or www.homeexpobcs.com.
