Schedule a hair and make-up trial. You want to feel your personal best on your special day, so don’t take a chance that you might not like how you look. (Think: photos!)
Bring deodorant. Your nerves might cause you to sweat more than usual, especially if it’s hot outside.
Pack a protein bar. With little time to eat a meal, a healthy snack may make all the difference in keeping your blood sugar level.
Hydrate! Drink plenty of water the day before, too.
Give your phone to somebody else. You don’t need any distractions or extra stress!
Break in your shoes ahead of time. Don’t risk getting blisters on your feet — you’re going to be on them plenty on your big day!
Pack a first-aid kit and sewing kit — because stuff happens.
Wearing panty hose? Bring along a spare pair, just in case.
Have someone you trust hand out checks to the musicians, florists, caterers, photographer, etc. before your celebration is over. It’ll give you piece of mind — and them too.
Remunerate your officiant well — that person deserves a little extra appreciation for their time and care to make your wedding especially special.
Grab a slice of your wedding cake, or have a friend save you a piece. Otherwise, you might not get any!
Delegate: Don’t try to do everything by yourself. Enlist friends, family, or professionals to take some of the burden off your shoulders so your celebration goes without a hitch!
