Welcome to the Brazos Spinners & Weavers Guild. They are a group of like-minded fiber enthusiasts of wide-ranging expertise, interests, and ages. They spin on various spindles and wheels, they weave on and off looms, they felt, and they dye. They create beauty and function in an abundance of techniques. They encourage learning and outreach within their group but also with the general public.
The Guild was established and has been active since 1976. Brazos Spinners & Weavers Guild is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
Their public outreach works in two ways: primarily, they offer free workshops which introduce the public through a wide variety of textile and fiber arts techniques and hands-on instruction to various age groups.
